All the doctors who work at CIEM share its ethics and its concern to develop attentive and effective preventative medicine. The specialists and cardiologists you see will take time to listen to you and advise you during the consultations. In terms of their dedication and practice they form a genuine, highly-qualified, team.
 The CIEM medical team comprises around thirty practitioners: specialist internal physicians, radiologists, and cardiologists, all former hospital consultants, interns or senior hospital doctors who are professionally recognized in their practice and recruited by being co-opted on the basis of a collegiate decision after successfully acting as replacements for a year to two.
The CIEM medical team would not be complete without its nurses, who are specially trained in preventative techniques and screening techniques.  They help the cardiologist make your cardiovascular assessment and undertake some technical procedures: audiogram, measurement of eye pressure, respiratory capacity, etc..

CIEM considers it essential for the doctors who work for it to continue their hospital or primary care practice in order not to lose contact with medicine “in the field”. For this reason their sessions are limited to a maximum of two half-days per week.

 Every two months the doctors attend review meetings during which they discuss together the most complex cases seen at CIEM, naturally maintaining total patient anonymity. These meetings are also an opportunity to share their knowledge and undertake continuing education to perfect their skills. These exchanges also help in the constant updating of the various sections of the assessment.

All CIEM doctors are skilled in both examining you and answering your questions: they have access to your records, enabling them to provide you with a quality personalized follow up regardless of who your general  practitioner is. For your annual appointments, however, you can specifically ask to see those with whom you feel most comfortable: your request will be met when the appointment is arranged. |
