Integrated laboratory and medical imaging
In order to check your health quickly and effectively, CIEM has a medical analytical laboratory and a state of the art medical imaging department in its premises. Their equipment is all latest generation and is replaced regularly. The laboratory specialists and radiologists who head these departments are former Paris Hospitals interns dedicated to obtaining rapid, accurate and reliable profiles.

In order to conduct its preventative mission, CIEM must provide accurate detailed investigation results which facilitate the doctors’ diagnoses and enable them to detect the slightest abnormal change very early.

The medical analytical laboratory is specialized in screening techniques. Here, accuracy and speed ensure that the results of the many tests performed are available during the consultations that very same morning or afternoon. For this reason, CIEM has among other things an automated analyzer able to perform 1200 clinical chemistry tests and 200 immunology tests per hour.

Highly skilled technicians
This performance is achieved thanks to the qualifications of the CIEM laboratory technicians. These are recruited for their high level of skill and undergo regular training both in carrying out tests and in operating and maintaining the equipment. Each technician is responsible for a particular item of equipment and responsible for ensuring and supervising its maintenance, the primary aim being to maintain the high quality of laboratory results. In addition, alongside the information provided by the automated analyzer, some specific investigations, such as testing for possible abnormal cells in the blood (leukaemias, lymphomas, etc.), are performed manually to ensure maximum sensitivity.

Latest generation equipment
The medical imaging department has a multi-functional radiology room and two ultrasound rooms. The radiology equipment is entirely digitalized and provides clear detailed photographs with minimum exposure to radiation. The ultrasound scanners also incorporate advanced techniques. All photographs are read scrupulously by a team of five radiologists.

Digital radiology, selective screening, equipment and products chosen with a view to limiting toxic waste, etc., yes, as you see, CIEM also follows an environmental approach in its day-to-day activities.

All these factors result in CIEM’s having a high-performance technical platform able to deliver a precise map of your health in less than a morning and help you maintain your health on a long-term basis.
